Sheila Cater
Sheila is a founder of Cater Leydon Millard and has over 35 years’ employment law experience.
She has considerable experience of working with large and complex organisations, in both the public and private sector, and has previously worked as an in-house employment adviser for a nationalised industry.
Sheila handles the full range of employment law and human resource issues, including advising on:
- strategic issues associated with reorganisations and restructuring
- collective consultation
- redundancy programmes
- outsourcing arrangements
- drafting related contractual and employment documentation.
She also has extensive experience of Tribunal litigation on a wide range of employment matters. Sheila is an active participant in training programmes. She has recently been involved in delivering training relating to disability discrimination, flexible working, restructuring, and age discrimination.
Sheila has also written widely in connection with employment law and policy drafting and has had articles published nationally.
